Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Safety Officer to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines across our operations. The Safety Officer will play a key role in promoting a safe working environment by identifying hazards, conducting safety training, and ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, implement, and maintain procedures for hazards identification and determining controls
  • Ensure adherence to applicable legal requirements
  • Ensure that the OH & S management system is communicated, participated in, and consulted at all levels of the organization and other interested parties associated with the business concern
  • Establish, implement and maintain procedures for emergency preparedness and response
  • Establish, implement and maintain procedures for incident investigation, nonconformity, corrective action, and preventive action

Qualifications

  • Preferably a graduate of Civil/Mechanical Engineering course or any 4-year course
  • With atleast 1 year of experience
  • With BOSH & COSH Training
  • With knowledge in DOLE Safety Reports (WAIR, etc.) & Fire Extinguisher
  • Computer Literate & organized
  • With good communication skills, oral & written
  • Good at problem-solving and analytical skills.
